The late Mr. Chaudhary Muhammad Hussain Zahid was a visionary leader and an esteemed businessman who made remarkable contributions to the development of his city and country. As the Former President of the Sahiwal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), he organized National Level EXPOs, the All Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Presidents' Conference, the Best Achievement Award Ceremony, and numerous other significant events.
He was elected as a GB Member of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SAARC CCI), representing Pakistan among the eight member countries: Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, and Afghanistan. He was one of the 20 distinguished businessmen selected from across Pakistan for this prestigious position.
In 1984, he founded the MS Group of Industries and served as its Chairman. As the CEO of MS Automobiles (Pvt.) Ltd., he pioneered the manufacturing of MS Jaguar Electric Bikes, which became the largest and fastest-growing electric bike brand in Pakistan. His contributions were instrumental in promoting sustainable transportation and innovation in the country.
Through his relentless efforts, Sahiwal witnessed significant advancements, including the approval and construction of its first-ever medical college, the establishment of a social security hospital, and the construction of the regional industrial estate head office. His dedication to progress earned him recognition both nationally and internationally. He was invited as a state guest by the Governments of Bulgaria and Taiwan for his work in promoting electric bikes. The Government of Pakistan also acknowledged his contributions and extended full support for his initiatives in the electric bike industry.
He served as the Senior Vice Chairman of the National Business Group (NBG) Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and as an Executive Member of FPCCI. He was the Founder and Chairman of the Businessman Group (BMG) at the Sahiwal Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Mr. Zahid was also an active Member of the District Legal Empowerment Committee, President of the Developers & Builders Association Sahiwal, and Chief Organizer of the Nazria-e-Pakistan Trust Sahiwal. He formerly served as the President of Rotary Club 101 Sahiwal and as a Representative of CCI & I Government of Punjab PHA Sahiwal.
His legacy is a testament to his tireless dedication to the betterment of society and the business community. He will always be remembered as a beacon of inspiration and a pioneer in the fields of commerce, industry, and social development.
